WELCOME TO OUR 2011 SEASON
This season will see Mudgeeraba Hockey Club enter teams in all senior grades of the Gold Coast Hockey Association competition, as well as junior teams throughout.
Mudgeeraba has a great history of success and we pride ourselves in our culture that promotes hockey in a healthy, fun and competitive way. We are a family and social club that not only trains and plays hard but has many fun and exciting social events for seniors and juniors.
We have won premierships in all grades, seniors and juniors and are currently 2010 Premiers in Div 1 Women, Div 3 Men and Under 15 girls.
The club boasts players and coaches who have represented the Gold Coast, Queensland, Victoria, ACT, NSW, WA , NT and also Australia in various age groups including under 13’s, under 15’s, under 18’s, under 21’s, open seniors and vets.
Our current coaching group includes Debbie Bowman-Sullivan former Captain and Gold Medallist of Australian Women, Peter Keeble former AHL player, Mie Dede former AHL and Gold Coast Regional Development Officer, Trevor Johnston former Victorian open and Qld/Australian Vet player, Heather and Paul Gasmier former Qld/Aus Vets and Rowen Dick former Australian open men’s player. They are all professional and enthusiastic coaches volunteering their time to coach and develop players at Mudgeeraba Hockey Club
Senior training has started:
Turf trainings are on Tuesday night from 6:30pm – 7.30pm at Gold Coast Hockey Association grounds,
Hockey Lane, Labrador and will continue throughout the season.
Matches for seniors start Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of March, 2 trial games then full season matches.
Matches begin for our juniors on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th of March.
